Co-hosting the event alongside High Ground Jiu Jitsu and Armezzanni Jiu Jitsu Academy, True Believer Jiu Jitsu also staffed the event with a group of volunteers that helped make this year’s tournament a great success.

Some traveled to New York to compete in the IBJJF Spring International Open 2019, while others remained in Pittsburgh to compete in the local Grappling Industries submission-only event. Regardless of where individuals competed, True Believer Jiu Jitsu is proud of each competitor for representing the tribe and taking on the challenge of competing in the sport of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

The students of True Believer Jiu Jitsu truly seized the opportunity to learn from a special talent — with some students recording more than 12 hours of training with Sinistro over the three days.
